June 18, 2008 - “Project Irrawady Delta Bound”

MBRO receives official confirmation from Project C.U.R.E. to provide support and assistance in the transportation of a 40 foot container of medical supplies valued at USD400,000 to Yangon, Myanmar. MBRO is required to raise USD16,500 for the preparation and loading of the container, which will take place at the Project C.U.R.E warehouse located in Tempe, Arizona. The Myanmar Geoscience Society (MGS) is the consignee. MGS will administer and manage the distribution of the medical supplies. More detailed information about distribution to hospitals, healthcare centers and clinics is forthcoming. The container will be loaded and shipped when we reach the fundraising target of USD16,500.
