August 20, 2008 - “Project Irrawady Delta Bound” update

MBRO and Project C.U.R.E. finalize the list of medical supplies and equipment to be shipped to Yangon. The proforma invoice required for the import permit will be sent to Myanmar Geoscieces Society (MGS) soon. Once MGS secures the import permit, MBRO will announce the date the medical supplies and equipment will be loaded into the container. An event organized by MBRO with the assistance and participation of the Arizona Burmese Community, the loading of the container will take place at the Project C.U.R.E. warehouse in Tempe, Arizona. We invite you, our friends and supporters, to participate in this event. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed to Project Irrawaddy Delta Bound. (Note: the required funding for the project (USD16,500) was previously remitted to Project C.U.R.E.)
